The Babies are Here!!!

Well, Lori made it to 31 weeks one day.
Julianna Grace was born on 12/11/09 at 3:44am. 3lbs 5.8oz and 16.25 inches
Charles Henry 4th was born on 12/11/09 at 3:45am. 3lbs 7oz and 16.5 inches
Lilianna Grace was born on 12/11/09 at 3:46am. 2lbs 15oz and 16.25 inches

They all started feedings today. Julianna and Lilianna did well and little Charles' formula sat in his belly, so they pumped out. Julianna likes to hold a paci and can be very loud, Charles is a squirmer and a kicker and Lilianna loves to hold her Mommy or especially her Daddy's finger and reaches out if it is taken away:) all of our babies are beautiful... we couldn't be more blessed! All the babies have the CPAP w/ room air. Julianna and Charles have an IV in their L arms and Lilianna in her belly button. They are receiving antibiotics until all their cultures come back normal. The nurses tested their bilirubin and little Charles has Jaundice... so he is under the blue lights w/ his shades on... ...and Lilianna will probably be following right behind her big brother in the next day or so...

Here are a few pics. If anyone would like to see all the baby pictures then please feel free to friend request Lori or I on Facebook.

We made it to 30 Weeks!!!

An update is long overdue. Since the last post Lori was released from the hospital after just 2 days and put on bed rest at home. Then on 11/25 we visited the specialist and found out her cervix had shorten to just about 1mm. She was immediately admitted to the hospital and has been their since and will remain there for the duration of the pregnancy. She has had some good days and some bad days. She is routinely monitored and sometimes she will have contractions every 5-6 minutes and other times she will have none. Fortunately, her cervix hasn't shortened anymore, or started to open for that matter.

The babies are doing good. They were just recently given an exam by the specialists where they test 8 different things relating to development; like breathing and swallowing. All 3 babies passed with flying colors!

Up until now the pregnancy has be relatively easy for Lori, but now she is starting to have some trouble. As of late her gestational diabetes has been an issue. Her sugar levels seem to be all over the place. Just this morning her sugar was only in the 50's. She is also getting tired of the hospital food and the bed is no longer comfortable. We are going to get her some extra padding for the bed to help her back. She is also very home sick and puggie sick too.

Lori is now 30 weeks pregnant with the peas and they are doing great. The doctors think she could get a few more weeks but are taking it day by day. She and I are hoping to make it to 33 weeks (christmas eve).
